Thanks Shilpaks. Fond memories of Delhi, although these, Jyotimoy's graphic stories of historyand books make me realise I really saw very little of Delhi on 2 trips. Next trip that will change. I recall Jyoti relating the food at Chandni Chowk. Jock

Pics 3 & 4 - I wonder whether there are rooms to let upstairs in pic.4??  Imagine, every day, feasting your eyes on all those goodies? :clapping:

Thanks for sharing Shilpa.......now, let's see what I can find to nibble

yup jock the next time ur here we can do a IT meetup/Eating day out kinda thing(a whole day picnic instead of an evening meetup thingie)

priya we did see laods of hotels/guest houese...and we were also wondering if we should just get in a pick up a room(charge was just some Rs200 per nite) , apparently these places would deliver to ur room too, imagine that, chole puri for breakfast from chainaram, masala chai and kachoris for midmorning snack, parathas and paneer sabzi and divine rabri faloodas for lunch, etc etc ..all delivered to ur room  :clapping:

Itinerary - Week 1 - (5 days, only  ) - Room with a food view + room service with a menu of your choice.  Five days of feasting then finally waddle outside to walk off all those extra calories.  What a beginning to an idyllic holiday!!!!  :clapping:

Lovely pics, Shilpaks! Can't wait to get to Delhi now. The paneer reminded me of the display of sheep cheese in the Turkish shops here.

Nice photos!  Dilli looks chilly.  :clapping:

Anyway, more evidence in support of my theory that Jyoti and Shilpa should join forces to run a business that organizes high-end, custom-designed, foodie-and-history-oriented tours of Delhi!
