How hard is it to buy contact lens solution in India? I have long-use contact lenses (I only have one pair and they last me about a year) so I need to clean them everyday. I generally use Cyclean or something called Aosept, which is a hydrogen peroxide solution (I think) then neutralised by some metal in the pot you put the lenses in. Can you get similar solution in India or will I have to lug several month's worth of bottles with me?

Contact lens solution is readily available in Cochin and Ooty (the only places I have shopped for it).

I don't wear contact lenses, but Ruth and the children do, and they get the same brand in India as we buy in the UK - but for half the price.

Contact lenses are also reasonably priced, and my three children's prescriptions (again, same make as in the UK) are also readily available, but my Ruth's prescription is on order only.

I'm sorry that I can't remember the brand name of the solution... but I only pay for it!  :)

Bausch & Lomb solution is available anywhere!

You could always consider laser surgery too, then you wouldn't need any solution!

Smoked for 25 years but now not smoked since 13th Jan. Am I now a non smoker, a smoker who doesn't smoke or an ex smoker? Do I have to even have a title, can I not just be a 'me'? Has not smoking made me crazy?, probably!

laser surgery won't work on astigmatism?  crap.

B&L available all over Bangalore.  I was surprised.  And it's $6.00 for 2 bottles, so cheaper than u.s., too.
