Recently read Three Cups Of Tea (Greg Mortenson's attempts are indeed laudable) and Irene Pepperberg's Alex & Me ( a lovely tale of science intermingling with human-animal bonding).

Next on is "Drinking : A Love Story"....a title which intrigues me (obviously ?).

Finished reading Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie... a great read.
Now I have Salman Rushdie's The Enchantress of Florence and Azar Nafisi's Reading Lolita in Tehran.

i read rushdie's 'the moor's last sigh' recently, and i couldn't recommend it highly enough. it was one of the most wonderful books i have read in quite a while.
