For the past 10 years I've been spending 6 months here in the Netherlands and 6 months in Idia.
Some times longer, some times shorter periods of time but I would say 6 months on average.
Moving to Delhi in August to work & settle for a year or 2. Kind of lost track how many times exactly I"ve been to India

Chandramukhi, welcome to TIT! Finally you have found your way here  :D .

I spent four months in India a couple of years ago.  Just decided I'm going back for as long as I can, in a couple of months.

I keep wondering though, how do all you people set yourselves up so that you can spend months each year there? Or wherever?   Am I just unentrepreneurial in that I have to save money for travel, then spend it travelling and then come home and start saving again?

Seriously, I am always wondering this.  I am 38, I own nothing, I have no money in the bank, but little if any debt.   I have a great kind of work that pays me decent but not huge money and I am not tied to any one job in my field.  When I have money I use it for travelling and then I start again.  But the most I can ever manage is 3 months at a stint somewhere in Asia.  What gives with being able to travel for long periods of time frequently, or being able to spend 6 x 6 home & abroad?
