Why nobody has discussed about Nikkon Coolpix series. 6 megapixel with 20X zoom now available for around 15000 rupees. You can put one 1GB card for Rs1700. The performance of this camera is simply superb. Handling film SLR camera needs lot of experose and experience. I have a film camera Cannon T50 which is SLR. Performance is very good. It has both auto and manual mode.
