Way back in 600 BC much before Hippocrates from Greece the founder of Indian Auyrveda Sushrut had written about 120 types of surgical instruments & more than 300 surgical procedures including removal of prostate gland.
Today there are more than 42000 Indian doctors in US which amounts to one in every 20 doctors. Indian doctor Sam Mehta treated injured US TV correspondent Kimberly Dozier in Iraq. While Mr. Dozier left Iraq & flew back to US Dr. Mehta stayed back to work 90 to 100 hours a week to treat patients in Baghdad.
