Here's a link to a good travel blog by a middle-aged guy from San Francisco about his first trip to India.  It's well-written and really captures the essence of a first-time visit.   Wish the author would join us (hm-m-m ... maybe he's here and we don't know it).

I want to go back to India. But I don't really have to, because in some ways I never left. Residing in a special place deep in my heart, India is forever a part of me now.

You are so right dzi...the blogger captured everything and more.

On his site the author gives his email address, so why not send him an email and invite him to the forum? Would be good to have such an interesting Indiaphile on the Tree.
