There are fairly a good number of high quality hospitals with good dental departments...

http://www.hospitals...itals/index.htm

On the list in that site the following are really good hospitals
Kerala Institute of Medical Science
Cosmopolitan
SPAN
SUT
S P Fort
P R S

Most of them are focussed on foreign patients, especially hoards of them coming from Sri Lanka, Maldives and ofcourse middle east.

hi neil, I was in trivandrum and i,m got to go back for bocthed job on implant,s you did not say what teatment, but for my money I went to dr lin kovoor, a saint, honestly, i,m from canada and I got screwed by doctorsdentalclinic, one only pay half up front, two make sure they pay half for your lodging, if you have to have implants and need to stay three month,s dr lin screwed up the job, but I would trust him to the end. he,s a good man and you get two for one, his wife is also a dentist, but to be really sure, appollo in trivandrum, he is one of the best but can,t do implant,s it,s not the hospital, he has aclinic in trivandrum and I would not hesitate going to him, but do not, I epeat do not go to dr ajit thomas, he ripped me off for 1500 u.s and all igot was a eeth cleaning, make sure whatever they promise, get it in writing, I found they will promise all sort,s of thing,s trip,s, visit,s to beach, nothing happened, they even said they would pay for me to get souvenier,s not. anything else I can help you with lodging go the "Y"the men,s one if that,s who you are, and speak to alfie tell them stephen sent you, it will cost you 180 ruppes a night for a place that,s safe, secure and you can volunteer and your in the heart of trivandrum one block from the mian drag. m.g road. brin earplug,s he noise in trivandrum is nut,s and painkiller,s you won,t get more than 400 mg ibuprofen, so see you dr for script, also pack light your going at a great time for deals, kovalam beach, you have to go there, for 16 ruppees you can spend a day, in fact, I have a great place, cheap, that I visited when I was in kovalum,  very cheap and ten minute,s to the beach, run by nun,s great place, great food, clean. here is the  phone #, sory no email, 0091-471-******** it,s called the animation centre, don,t ask why. 200 rupees a day, well worth it.day by bus {16k} but for my money the "Y"" if you see the manager and tell them that you would do any thing, I voluntered and they would not let me lift a finger, I played badminton, yoga, free for volunteering, you have to bug them, nothing in India is free, almost but not free. just be very careful, once you give these guy,s money, you will rarely if ever get it back, they will wait out your visa, and the law is on their side, they think anybody from outside in is rich.

I am not too sure if srm has anything to contribute here. Cannot understand much of what is written however, can say this.

When you are heading to India for a medical procedure, you are making a huge bargain versus the costs back home. Nope please do not go and save some extra pennies by going to the cheapest option in some hidden corner of India, where even Indias would not feel comfortable going to. Visit the established hospitals of good repute and then enjoy their facilities.
