Check it out at your local library or your local magazine store. The 230-page issue (US$5) (vol.23: no. 8) dated Nov-Dec 2006 has 68 pages devoted to photos & narratives about travel in India. As usual, the photography is excellent.
"National Geographic Traveler" is a magazine separate from the more famous "National Geographic," but both are published by the non-profit National Geographic Society (US, 1888). I have no financial interest of any kind in any of the above. I plan to send a copy of this issue to my son, whom I am trying to entice into joining me on a trip to India.

And we thought Oz was up to date, following close behind George W. Seems not in this instance. Checked local newsagent and latest issue of National Geograpic Traveller here is SEPTEMBER !!!! May have to wait until New Year.

Will be nice to see the magazine soon. I can usually get a new copy of the NG for about Rs75 (less than 2USD) in the same month of issue. And maybe a month later for the NG Traveller at about Rs100 (2USD). This happens only in India!!!

Aadil.
