Hiya everyone... hope you are all well and happy... not too sure where to put this thread and it has probably been talked about before but I could not find what I was looking for...
My partner and I bought a return ticket last season from India - Delhi>London>Delhi... We are leaving in the middle of November but we do not have our ticket back to London yet. We were thinking of maybe going to Thailand from India or maybe we will just go back to the UK.
The question is, when we turn up in Delhi without a ticket back to the UK or out of India will be in trouble? Has anyone done this before? Are there rules against this? We were thinking of leaving India around March time and will buy a ticket around January. Do we need to enter the country with a ticket out? Or will they be happy that we have a 6 month tourist visa and will leave before it has ended?
Any ideas or comments are most welcome.
Many thanks!

I believe, from seeing this question before, that you do not need a ticket onwards when you arrive in India.
have you tried searching the site for an answer?

yes, i've been searching too, but not finding the info - can't use words of less than four letters to search so 'one way ticket' doesn't work!
keep checking this thread, someone more knowledgeable will be along soon.
