It's really only the tickets from Trivandrum to Alleppey that I thought of booking in advance using the VERY early Shatbadi express.
I'm eventually coming back to Kottayam and catching a train to Varkala, then Varkala to Trivandrum. If I can book those tickets too it would be excellent.
The rest of the time i'll be using bus or local transport. That's the plan anyway, who knows. I'm trying not to regiment it in my mind in case something happens!!

Note that the Shatabdi Express ticket price includes a good breakfast too.

Hello Guys
Well, the time is nearing!!!!!!!!!!! Yee hah, I can't wait. I can't believe that i'm going either!
Anyway, i'm trying to book my blimmin e tickets at www.irctc.net and I get so far as putting my payment method and details but it won't process the card.
Is it something i'm doing wrong? Any advice at all?
Thanks again

isn't it supposed to be irctc.co.in? careful, you might land up in a web phishing site.
