 The snoring can be extremely irritating at times. As such no cure is available.
I would like to share that I have benefited personally by practicing " kapal bhati pranayam" for 10 minutes in the morning and evening.I was totally cured of the problem in about a month's time.Anyone suffering from this problem can try.Nothing to lose!

Your pooch more than likely practises pranayam without even knowing it   and if you practised it, you wouldn't need the earplugs

How to do Kapalbhati Pranayama

Step 1) Sit in comfortable crossed leg position with Back straight. Hands resting on knees in either chin or gyana mudra. Face to be relaxed.

Step 2) Inhale deeply through both nostril, expanding abdomen and exhale with the forceful contraction of abdominal muscles. (Pull the abdomen in by quickly contracting the abdominal muscles and exhale through the nose). The air is pushed out of lungs by contraction of
the diaphragm.

Step 3) After exhalation again inhalation but inhalation should not involve any effort. To inhale just relax and the lungs will automatically expand and filled with air.
One can begin with 15 respiration. After completing 15 quick exhalation and natural inhalation , inhale and exhale deeply. This is one round. One can start the practice of Kapalbhati pranayama with 3 such rounds for practice.

so, that's what my dog has been doing flat out on her stomach snoring has she?
just is.

 - I wasn't referring to the kapalbhati method - I referred to basic pranayam  which is excellent for stress relief, which your pooch most probably needs, having to sleep on the floor - and you having to resort to earplugs!!!!

Well, it seems to me most people snore while sleeping on their backs.  The solution?  Make them sleep in a t-shirt with a front-pocket on it.  Make them wear the t-shirt backwards, with a golf ball or something similar in the pocket.  Then, they won't roll onto their backs while they sleep.

do you think I should substitute a marble for a golf ball for a smallish dog? :D

A French scientist invented the machine to completely cure Migraine & Snoring for ever. The machine had been used for more mundane purposes too !!!!

The first thing that needs to be done is to get this checked out by the doctor as many times snoring is caused by a medical problem. Some can be quite serious so have her see the doc and get this checked out. If there is no medical cause for the snoring the doc will be able to recommend treatment for it.
