I found this library of images today on the BBC, some are very upsetting, so be warned. But they record a pivotal moment of Indian history.....

Thank you for the link, torryquine. These pictures are most shattering, yet I feel especially on a day like this the fate of those suffering has to be remembered.
A book is a version of the world. If you do not like it, ignore it; or offer your own version in return.

Amazing photos TQ, testemant to the folly of the human condition, watching the news lately with dismay I'm struck by how history teachers us few lessons
