Yogesh checking back to the thread where I noticed the name, tigr was based in the US and only had a few posts, so not you. Thinking of the members from xbhp, I notice that Bunny is now a feature writer for BIKE Magazine.
Howie: Nice to have another biker around. You will be surprised how capable the 150-225cc bikes are, even for touring. Please feel free to start another thread on the subject so you can get more feedback and opinions on bikes and equipment as the discussion will be of interest to others and will be easier to find on its own.
crvlvr: flats and breakdowns are a hassle for solo tourers all right! I haven't heard of a tour using motocrossers -- maybe not a bad idea for Indian roads, but I've never actually seen any production ones in India that weren't imported or ridden out from Europe by their owners. The subject of touring packages deserves its own thread as well as it might take a while to get much feedback and it would get better visibility. Also mention what you have in mind i.e. where you are interested in going, how long you have to do it, when you want to go etc. as you never know.....

Great to have you with us, mate. Would love to take you up on the ride offer -- I've slowed up a bit in my old age but your kind of adventure riding is sure fun to read and think about!!
