76-Second Travel Show: Monopoly Travel

  Posted by Chetan , 06 October 2010 · 120 views

Lonely Planet
Can you use a Monopoly board as a guidebook? You can if you’re in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Monopoly was first introduced by Parker Brothers 75 years ago, but many people today don’t realize that the colorful properties ringing the board are real places that can be visited, even when they’re strolling along Atlantic City’s famous Boardwalk. This week the 76-Second Travel Show takes a trip down board game memory lane and tries to buy some hotels with cash.

One of the best finds in Atlantic City? Free parking.
