Jaundice is present in Cancer of head of pancreas . It occurs due to obstruction of flow of the bile through the common bile duct which naturally travels in relation with head of pancreas. So all Jaundiced patient should be treated with high degree of suspicion. Painfree, deep jaundice, clay coloured stools, palpable lump in abdomen and itching is the hallmark of this variety of Jaundice. Patient develops remarkable loss of appetite and weight. Stomach outlet obstruction may cause intractable vomitting.
USG-Sonography/ EUS, Liver function tests, Tumour marker study , CECT  with ERCP sos Stenting forms the backbone of investigational framework.
Surgery has best chance of cure.
