@Sekhar - You aren't telling us how your crawfish po'boys tasted? Here's Alan Richman sampling a cross-section of po'boys among other foods in a 6 page article that slams New Orleans even in the aftermath of Katrina, he might as well be calling it America's biggest loser town. http://www.gq.com/fo...d?currentPage=3

 

@lady_on_recipe_hunt - You are relentlessly innovative as usual. But I notice that you used canned pinto beans- I'm not sure whether those beans are easily procurable in your city but how can an evolved cook like you, use canned vegetables?!

Not much to write about the Po'boys, @EarnesTaster. They were under stuffed and just ordinary. I did not expect too much as this was the only 'restaurant' in the area, next one being about 20-30 miles away and moreover, near a resort area that gets really busy on the weekends. :)
