And here are the Photos , I prefer to order a single idli or Vada while I wait for my Dosa .

Uddin Vada , nothing special about these .

And then the Dosa of course , I think its time for me to try something new for some time ......

The potato veggie in incredibly flavorful and from my perspective make the dosas taste so much better

This time I wanted to meet and talk to the owners of this fabulous restaurant so I took an appointment.
Mr. Arun Kumar Adiga and his Father

They have 2 hotplates/griddles/tavas each capable of making 20 dosas at a time!

From 0 - 20 in 60 seconds!

While we were waiting for the dosas, we had a chow chow baath. Made of Rava these are sweet and savoury versions of the more popular term - Upma.

and Idlis.

The dosas arrived in great style and waiter No. 1 is a skilled juggler to handle 20 at a time.

Crisp as a brick.
and soft on the insides.

As I have claimed upthread :

If clamped on a retort stand at 1/3rd Length it will remain horizontal.

Check this out - Horizontal even with the filling inside!

Holey Moley! This is no floppy disk.

and rounded off this breakfast with an equally great filter coffee.

Burp! Dosa Inside!

Was at Vidyarthi Bhavan yesterday and to my surprise they bumped up the price by 10 % again and in this economy !

Its now Rs33 for a Masala Dosa , plain dosa at Rs 30 , a plate of idli at Rs 18 and the coffee at Rs 12/-

For the price bump you get exactly what you got before

Masala Dosa , Varsha isnt a big fan of the dosa but she admits that this may be the best dosa , its almost like bread she said and followed that with could they be adding some Raagi to the Dosa batter a very small portion of it may be to get this texture .... Suresh ?

Intel ....errr masala inside

The Coffee ,
