11.30 pm is the time to place last orders. 1.30 am is the official time for bars to shut down in Mumbai. They are very strict with these timings specially after all the dance bars have shut down
There are humungous fines/arrests for non- compliance, so everybody shuts shop on time nowadays. People then move to night clubs / 24hrs coffee shops to drink some more
Mumbai GDF
still waiting for responses from others.

Dear Friends,
I would love to join you in the GDF. Friday is a problem due to heavy evening traffic unless the meeting is in extreme south mumbai (I am at Nariman Point).
Could it be a Sunday brunch ? After all its endless eating and drinking that this forum is about !
The one at the Grand Hyatt is great, and overall I think its the best 5 star food in Mumbai.
But anywere else is ok too.

Wish I could be there with you guys. Order one for me and then you all drink it up.
Ask for Executive Chef Christopher Baker and take pictures. That should get the ball rolling.

Just got back from the Mumbai GDF, we were three
Gourmet Street and Hemant ditched
but Anil, me and Harish (Anils friend from another website forum) had a good time, we spoke a lot, discussed everything under the sun about food n drinks. Btw people, Anil has a huge collection of music on his i-pod, every kind of music known to humans
Here are the pictures :
We met at the JWM in Anils room, had Grey Goose Vodka with Red Bull, was quiet happy after 2 large drinks

Moved onto to Regency, a nice seafood place I suggest to all my friends n clients

We had Prawns n mixed veggie

Mutton Lajawab

Fish Tandoori

Veg Maharani + Dal Makhani + Rotis

No place for desserts
P.S. Anil, it was a pleasure meeting you, lets do this again soon ok

It was great to see SAUCY and another of my friend. SAUCY was really gracious in driving us from JWM to regency and then dropping me back @ JWM (It is really hot and humid in BOM - I have forgotten the BOM weather
)
Hemant called to say he could'nt make it.

[Saucy]Hey, one more thing, why dont we have a GDF Meet this coming Sunday, for like a brunch or something ? Good idea yes
Sounds good. What's the price of a 5 star sunday brunch in Mumbai? I'm sure it's more than in Bangalore. I'm hoping to cash in on the sale of a few of my signature recipes.
