To whomever it may concern,
This is to inform you that I bought a pack of KOKA noodles (Tom Yam flavour) from the supermarket 4 months ago. The month of import on this pack was June09, imported by Chip Valley Foods, originally maunufactured by Tat Hui Foods, with an expiry date of end of July, 2010. This pack was opened for consumption by my wife about 3 months ago, and as she proceeded to pour the noodles into a bowl for cooking, she found to her horror a big, sharp piece of glass in the pack of noodles.
I'm hereby questioning the quality standards and processes maintained by the manufacturer - this is an atrocious negligence on your part. I'm disgusted at this lapse of quality, and if my wife had consumed this by mistake, she surely would have died a horrible death. How can a piece of glass enter the noodles pack? and what other harmful materials and ingredients do you mix into your products?
I'm also hereby questioning the importer's choice in goods, how can you import from a food manufacturer who has such poor standards? who's this negligent, and god knows what crap is mixed in their food products - if a big sharp piece of glass can neatly find its way into them.
Though I wanted to address this issue 3 months ago, I was unfortunately tied up with other committments at my job, but now that I have some time to spare, I'm inclined go all the way and take appropriate steps as deemed by me to address this issue, and I will be spreading the message to everyone possible, by any means necessary - to ensure nobody consumes any sort of food manufactured / imported by you two parties of concern.
And while I think of what appropriate measures to take to address this issue, I'm attaching pictures of the pack and the piece of glass (both of which i've carefully preserved) for your review, and I can't wait to hear what kind of answer you (the concerned importer and manufacturer) might have for me on how a sharp piece of glass can enter a pack of noodles?

Pretty scary about the consequences of what may have happened if the glass was swallowed ! Please help spread the word! Will follow up with more details on the same!
