I have a query related to sale of beer? In a restaurant with a beer license, is it allowed to sell beer cans and pint bottles (without glasses) above the mrp?

I found this recipe in one of my very old cookery notebooks.
This cocktail hasn't got a name but I think it is quite potent.

2 bananas
2 whites of egg
half a lemon (juice only)
White Rum
4 cubes of ice
1 teaspoon sugar

Combine in liquidiser.

(no quantity of rum mentioned; use your discretion).

1 tumbler of Pimms
Half a tumbler of Gin (optional)
3 tumblers of white lemonade
Dash of Angostura bitters

apples/oranges/cucumber/strawberries all decoratively chopped/sliced and fresh mint leaves sprinkled on top.

Serve chilled (in fridge)

Very refreshing!

Belgian Beer Weekend : 8 - 11 Sep 2011

My husband and I visited this Belgian Beer Event in Tokyo today. ( we live here ) We were very pleased with the beers, the location, atmosphere, all arrangements but NOT the food. Belgium is known in Europe for excellent cuisine ( unlike it's neighbour, The Netherlands ), but that standard of cuisine didn't make it to Tokyo, luckily the beer travelled well and was delicious.

Belgian beer is famous in Europe for a number of outstanding characteristics :
1. The tradition of Abbey and Trappist beers ( brewing skills historically associated with monasteries )
2. Some but not all Belgian beers have outrageous alcohol content, with levels as high as 11%
3. High quality and very distinct types from pale to dark.
4. Fruit beers such as strawberry, cherry, raspberry and apple.
4. Playful and original packaging and branding. Names such as "Delirium Tremens".

Division into 9 Beer categories :
pilsner, white, trappist, abbey, red, lambic, fruit, golden ale, saison beer, special beer

I've re-instated the old Spirit of Islay Forum , I found a free PHP BB3 host who could import the database i'd backed up at it's death on it's original host .
