Hope you can see this ? Let me know if you cant !
thanks chetan, when i asked i couldn't see it, but now i can. hmm, what to shout??
3. so, can someone tell me how i can use the shout box here? please!
4. it's pretty much all booked (although if someone can recommend a not too expensive ho chi minh hotel/guesthouse that would be great), and i'm just a little excited...
5. sounds like a great trip! i'm currently planning a month long trip with madam princess to kuala lumpur, penang, phuket and ho chi minh city, leaving boxing day.
6. hey kk, good to see you. how's the travel planning?
7. thank you so much jyoti and gautam - such wonderful, different worlds.
8. hi tim - welcome to the tree, hope you enjoy hanging out here.
9. wow, a bunch of new members! welcome all.
10. i've booked flights for my next trip - kl, penang, thailand (destination undecided) and saigon - a mix of plane and train trips. no india, unfortunately, but madam princess wasn't up for it. with air asia, it's much cheaper to get around south east asia now, so maybe india next time...

13.
Bliss, potato patties (or cutlets as we Indians call them) is one nice option. Boil potatoes, peel and mash them. Then add some steamed green peas, some finely chopped onion, cilantro leaves, and green chillies. Add salt, chilli powder, and garam masala. Add a couple of teaspoons of lemon juice. Optional: if you have old bread laying around, you can soak it in water, crumble it up and add it to the mix. Mix everything well. Shape into patties. All this can be pre-made and refrigerated. If you wish, you can brush a little oil on them. Cook on the grill. Other things that do well on the BBQ are fresh corn-on-the-cob, sliced mushrooms, green peppers, etc...but that is fairly common knowledge. Veena
eggplant (brinjal) grills really well.
14. chocolate tomorrow!

15. seekh kebab, chicken tikka and rogan josht - seemed pretty good to me.
